SBA 7(a) Loans

The 7(a) Loan Program is the SBA’s primary and most popular program that can help you obtain loan amounts up to $5 million to fund startup costs, purchase equipment, and more.

One of the main differences between SBA 7(a) Loans and conventional business loans is the loan-to-value requirements. SBA 7(a) loans can allow small business owners to obtain funds at a higher advance rate than their bank or lender would typically lend on a conventional business loan. In other words, SBA loans typically require a lower down payment than you would need on a conventional business loan.

SBA Express Loans

If you’re looking for financing under $500,000, an SBA Express Loan could be a good option for you. SBA Express Loans feature an accelerated turnaround time with a smaller maximum loan amount and a simplified application process for the SBA to review.

504 Loan Program

The 504 Loan Program gives approved small businesses long-term financing to acquire fixed assets for expansion or modernization. SBA 504 loans are made available through Certified Development Companies (CDCs), the SBA’s community-based partners for providing 504 loans. A CDC is a nonprofit corporation that promotes economic development within its community through 504 Loans. CDCs are certified and regulated by the SBA. They work with the SBA and participating lenders—such as Central Bank—to provide financing to small businesses.
